INSIDE THIS PROGRAMME YOU WILL...

WEEK 1 & 2

Create a calm foundation

We’ll have an hour-long one-to-one coaching call to understand exactly where you are in your IBS journey and identify any simple but powerful changes to create a calmer foundation before the low FODMAP diet. [Planned for 16th June 2024, with flexibility]

WEEK 3

Tame your IBS symptoms

On Sunday 30th June the small group will get together online to learn how to follow the low FODMAP diet as a vegan. We’ll then have a live workshop to create personalised, balanced low FODMAP diet plans that fit your lifestyle and taste preferences.

WEEK 4 & 5

Have personal support & de-stress

While you follow a low FODMAP diet, we’ll have weekly check-ins over email, monitoring your symptoms and answering any questions you have. I’ll also send you a de-stress challenge each week, focusing on the 7 evidenced-based routes to feel calmer.

WEEK 6 to 12

Discover your triggers

The group will meet again online to learn how to properly challenge individual FODMAPs. Each week you’ll challenge a new FODMAP, with the support of detailed guides, recipes and weekly check-ins with me, to keep your on track. You’ll also receive more evidence-based de-stress challenges.

WEEK 13

Make sense of your results

WEEK 14

Learn to "Re-Wild" your gut

We’ll meet online for an hour one-to-one to go over your challenge results and plan how to best reintroduce your tolerated foods.

TESTIMONIALS

The live group programme is new, but I've been helping vegans with IBS for years. Here is some of their feedback.

"The information you have given us here in Your Wild Gut Project and on your YouTube channel is absolutely invaluable. FODMAP was my final option after years of trying EVERYTHING (most of which included high FODMAP foods -- ugh, I was "poisoning" myself!!) FODMAP restrictions are hard enough, but then take out the meat, and my head was spinning. I am thankful every day for finding you -- I honestly have never felt overwhelmed since that point. So thank you thank you!!!"

FAQS

What if I can’t attend the live workshops?

It's a small group, so we can be more flexible and find a time most members can attend. I appreciate things can come up though, so you will be sent the recording, and all the resources and have the weekly email check-ins to ask personal questions.

What if the low FODMAP diet doesn't work for me?

The Low FODMAP diet has been shown to give significant symptom relief in 60-80% of IBS, patients… so it will not work for everyone. This is why the programme also includes one-to-one sessions and email check-ins, so if you need to take a different path, it will be possible.

I've tried to eat low FODMAP before and it was too difficult!

Without proper support and education, the low FODMAP is almost impossible to navigate. That’s why we’ll have check-ins and workshops to create practical and personalised low FODMAP diet plans to make the diet fit your life.

I have other health issues and dietary requirements.

This programme will not be suitable for everyone, especially people with a history of disordered eating. Please email at carolinetwgp@gmail.com if you have other health concerns and we can work out your best options for IBS support.

What if I'm not fully vegan yet?

I’ve met a lot of people through The Wild Gut Project who desperately want to follow an ethical vegan lifestyle, but cannot due to IBS. If this is you, you are welcome to join and hopefully, with the support, you’ll be able to find symptom relief and be able to live in alignment with your values. This programme is not suitable for you if you have no desire to be vegan.

I'm not comfortable being on camera.

That’s cool, keep your camera off. You will not be pressured to engage more than you want to in the group workshops, although it’ll be more fun if you do!

A NOTE FROM CARRIE...

I wanted to create a way for people to feel connected to other vegans with IBS, that was small enough to not feel self-conscious or forgotten. Enter Your Wild Gut Project group programme.

Besides two Masters in Biomedical Science and Nutrition and Dietetics, I also have personal experience overcoming IBS. With 9 years of suffering from post-antibiotic IBS, then finally calming the symptoms with a low FODMAP diet and stress management, to 6 years progressing to being essentially symptoms-free with a diverse vegan plant-based diet.

Through this group programme I want to share what I have learnt to set you up for genuine long-term health.

Looking forward to meeting you!
